THE LAGS BATTLE - THE ITALIAN FINAL AT HOST MILAN

In the evocative setting of the Villaggio del caffè within the Host Milan event, the "Lags" (Latte Art Grading System) emerges as one of the most prestigious circuits in the world in the competitive sector of latte art competitions. This circuit, which has already brought its name to over 50 countries around the world, has also awarded certifications to thousands of high-level bartenders. Now the LAGS is ready to take center stage at Host Milano for an epic challenge during Italy's national competition, THE LAGS BATTLE ITALIA 2023.

The date to mark is Sunday 15 October 2023, when the Host fair, in Rho Milan, will open its doors at 9:30 in the morning to host the best latte artists of our peninsula. The competition will bring together 12 skilled baristas, divided into four categories: green, red, black and gold, each representing an increasingly higher level of mastery in the technique of creating works of art with milk.

The challenges will be conducted as a best of three, with a panel of highly experienced international judges who will ensure that each pattern is judged precisely, strictly following the competition specifications. At the end of this intense competition, the undisputed Italian champions in the discipline of latte art will emerge.

In the meantime, behind the scenes, the Lags machine is already at work planning the 2024 national selections. In November will come out the dates and locations of the new 2024 Battles, promising an even richer future of exciting matches and spectacular performances of world-class latte art. The passion for this discipline continues to grow and Lags is at the center of this electrifying evolution.
