The LAGS Battle Chile: A Memorable Event at ExpoCafé Chile 2024

It's been a week since we experienced a weekend of coffee emotions with ExpoCafé Chile 2024 🥹☕️🔥! Thanks to the whole team who made Sinergia Lab's participation in an extraordinary competition possible.

The 2nd LAGS Green and Red Level Tournament

One of the most anticipated events of ExpoCafé Chile 2024 was the second LAGS (Latte Art Grading System) tournament with the Green and Red levels, organized by @surlatchile. This tournament presented a unique opportunity for baristas and latte artists from across the country to showcase their skills and creativity.

The LAGS Battle

The Latte Art Grading System Championship is a competition that evaluates the precision and beauty of the decorations made on the surface of the coffee with milk foam. Green and Red levels indicate varying degrees of difficulty and mastery, with green reserved for advanced beginners and red for experts. Each participant had the opportunity to showcase their talent, creating complex and fascinating designs that amazed the judges and the audience.

The Winners of the BATTLE

The competition was fierce, but in the end, only the best managed to stand out. The winners demonstrated extraordinary technical ability and incredible creativity, honoring the growing latte art movement in Chile. Their works not only displayed technical mastery, but also an unmistakable passion for the art of coffee.

The 1st LAGS CHILE LEAGUE

The closing of the first LAGS CHILE LEAGUE was one of the most exciting moments of the ExpoCafé. This event marked an important milestone for the Chilean barista community. The league saw dairy artists from across the country compete throughout the year, culminating in a spectacular final at the ExpoCafé.

An International Collaboration

The presence of Giuseppe Musiu, a renowned latte artist from Italy, added an international touch to the competition. His participation inspired many competitors, raising the level of competition and bringing new perspectives and techniques from Europe. Thanks also to the official Dalla Corte @dallacorte_espresso machine, the artists had the highest quality equipment at their disposal to best express their talent.

The LAGS CHILE LEAGUE was not just a competition, but a celebration of the talent and dedication of all participants. Each competitor brought their own uniqueness and creativity, helping to make the event an extraordinary success. The closure of the league marked not only the end of a competition, but the beginning of a new era for latte art in Chile.
