ITALIAN FINAL OF THE LATTE ART GRADING SYSTEM

On 3 July 2024, the Italian final of the Lags Latte Art championship was held with great success, an event that saw the best Italian baristas compete for the national title. The winners who stood on the podium were:

- 1st green level: Giulio Maisto

- 1st level red: Ivan De Rosa

- 1st black level: Salvatore Riunno

- 1st gold level: Carmen Clemente

4 top categories came from the 2024 selection stages in Rimini (Cellini Caffè), Bergamo (Brita), Naples (Saka Caffè) and Ragusa (Brasilcafè). The event was held in the prestigious BRIXIA Arena at the Agust coffee roasting plant in Brescia and was judged by Lags authorised experts, including Maurizio Boi, Andrea Villa, Simone Cattani, Nicola Manzo and Fabio Proietto. The competition was intense and highlighted the extraordinary skill and creativity of the participants, each of whom presented latte art works of the highest level.The winners of the Italian final will now have the opportunity to represent Italy at the WLAGS World Final, to be held in Trieste on 26 October 2024, during the Trieste Espresso Expo. This international event will be a unique opportunity to test the skills of the best latte artists globally and to celebrate the art of coffee at one of the most important trade fairs in the industry.We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all participants especially to the official Lags partners who made this exciting event possible, including:
