Wednesday 16 June at the D.C. ARENA (Officine Dalla Corte - Milan) the last stage of the Italian selections of the battles of the Latte Art Grading System circuit took place.
The Lags, which for over 7 years has been growing - not only in Italy but also in other countries of the world - has given way to the challenge circuits for competitions which have become a fundamental tool to make this spectacular discipline that is LATTE ART.
15 Lags Warrior, as defined by Lags, Baristas experts in latte art challenged each other with jugs following the rules of the competition regulations recently raised to level 2.0.
Out of three different categories, GREEN, RED AND BLACK, only one of them has won the pole position to enter the shortlist of 12 who will fight at Host at the Italian finals on 24 October 2021 at Host at the Coffee Village, organized by Altoga.
Event presented directly by the founder of Lags Luca Ramoni and who with the new team of authorized Lags judges (Simone Cattani, Massimiliano Crispino, Alessandro Lantieri and Nicola Manzo) have decreed the baristas with the best hands to access the FINAL ARENA.
The winners of the individual categories are:
GREEN LEVEL Giuseppe Campanella
RED LEVEL Carmela Maresca
BLACK LEVEL Fabio Colicchia

During the day some exceptional guests visited the Arena including Carmen and Manuela Fensore (gold level champion at the past Lags World Championships) and then Michele Hu, winner of red level at the recent selections in Rome and obviously the owner of Casa Dalla Corte, Paolo Dalla Corte.
The prizes to the best in classified were awarded by Raffaello Calabrese and Giovanni Giaquinta of Dalla Corte and by the President Altoga Remo Ottolina
What can we say ... it was an exciting event and according to some participants ... "we should do it more often" ... .. the Lags will not WAIT .. LET'S START FROM HOST !!
